Everyone,
Just
wanted to thank all of you who attended The Jocson's Potluck, there was alot of
good food and we all had a great time. Those of you who couldn't attend were missed,
especially the people who signed up to bring dessert.
Unfortunately,
we did miss out on dessert, since the people bringing dessert didn't show up.
Nathalie received a phone call from one person because they were stuck in L.A.
and the other person just didn't call or show up. When you are signed up to bring
a dish, that is a commitment you will be there. If for some reason you cannot
attend, you must contact the host/hostess ASAP so they can make arrangements to
have the dish replaced or they have to make something themselves. It's quite a
bit of work when you are the host/hostess and you don't realize it, until you
host one at your home. What people do not bring to the potluck the host/hostess
needs to make, to ensure all the dishes are there and there is a variety of food
for everyone to enjoy. So please follow through, it's not the first time this
has happened and it won't be the last but if we can communicate far enough in
advance it sure makes it alot easier.
Would
everyone please send the webmaster, info@ocmacros.com,
your recipe for August and September so she can upload it to the website. As a
reminder, please bring one typed recipe to the potluck. There are still a few
of you who forget to bring your recipe.
