Preheat oven to 350°, lightly oil and flour a 9" cake pan. Sift together dry ingredients into large bowl. Whisk together wet ingredients into another bowl. Mix wet ingredients into dry ingredients, mix until smooth; do not over mix. Batter should be thick and spoonable; not runny. Add more rice milk if needed. Bake cake at 350 for 40 - 45 min. Cool cake in pan 10 min. Before removing onto a wire rack. For topping: Wash strawberries, remove stems and cut berries in half. In a pan add strawberries, rice syrup and salt. Mix the kuzu with strawberries. Bring to a boil, reduce heat to low, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking and lumps. Simmer until sauce thickens and strawberries are soft.
