Wash the arame and put it in a colander to drain. Put the dried tofu in a bowl and soak it for 2-3 min. in boiling water until soft. Rinse the tofu under cold water, squeeze out the liquid, and slice into cubes. Heat the oil in a frying pan. Add the arame and carrots and saute for 1- 2 min. Add the dried tofu and water to cover the arame and carrots. Add a little tamari soy sauce. Bring to a boil, cover, and reduce the heat to low. Simmer for 40-45 min. Season with a little more tamari soy sauce to taste and simmer for 10-15 min. longer. When nearly all the liquid has evaporated, mix and serve. Download this recipe http://www.AccuChef.com |
